About
When I was eight, I dreamt of becoming a doctor. This dream lasted for about a decade – until the age of 18, when I started volunteering at ‘Youth Line’. Although I enrolled on the medical degree at Vilnius University, I soon realised that I didn’t belong there. I realised that my calling was not to treat the body with medicine, but to understand souls through conversation. And so began my journey into psychology in the lecture hall of Vilnius University.
Although my eyes and heart were set on psychology, whilst studying the depths of the soul, I found myself missing discussions about our material form – the physical body. So I packed my bags and set off to study a programme that we do not yet have in Lithuania – neuropsychology. There, medicine and psychology, biology and philosophy, emotions and behaviour all came together. Consequently, my consultations and teaching are now influenced not only by Jung and Freud, but also by synapses and neural networks.
It’s all for emotional wellbeing and brain health. For each person’s journey towards an authentic life!
